The day started off as overcast, the closer I drove to the beach the more the clouds seemed to compile. But what I knew was this does not equal bad wedding day weather, my thought was YES! This means I will have a large diffuser for all the photos can’t beat that! I got to the venue a bit early, just to make sure that I did not feel rushed once I got there, you know gotta pull it all together before it all starts! I walked around the venue taking notice of neat places to shoot as well as stumbling upon the reception area, which happened to lead me right to Whitney. I entered into the suite where her and her ladies were getting ready. Whitney was as cool as a cucumber. I asked her how she was doing and very confidently she relayed to me that she was feeling great. You could feel her energy and excitement that she was so close to marrying Jason.
They had a beautiful ceremony in a unique fashion on the beach with everyone forming a circle around them. The clouds had also parted just so that the sun was shinning through and it created a beautiful sky behind them.
Thank you so much to you both for allowing me to be a part of such an important day in your lives. Your love is palpable and your bond is so strong, I hope that you got in a good amount of surfing on your honeymoon!
