This wedding was a first for me, not my first time at Moniker Warehouse but a different type of first. It was my first time going from bride to photographer at the place where I got married earlier this year: Moniker Warehouse. For obvious reasons this spot holds so many happy memories for me, and to be honest I was a bit worried of how I would feel once getting there. Would it make me sad (because I will tell you I miss my wedding day so much because it was the most fun ever) Would it make me happy (this seemed like a clear yes)? Would it make the memories I created there harder, or easier to remember? Well the truth was, it did warm my heart to be there and to remember my wedding, but beyond that it really didn’t effect me as strongly as I expected. I think that is because I was there to celebrate two amazing people and document all the beautiful moments of Sam and Brandon’s big day!
I’m so glad that they found Moniker, it has such an amazing vibe and so many great people attached to it. In my search for wedding venues I noticed that there were very few that had the vibe I was going for, and I’m not afraid to admit I did search “hipster wedding venues” in the process before deciding on Moniker. And really in San Diego there’s about 3 wedding venues that have that type of vibe: Moniker Warehouse, Brick, Luce Loft. In the end we chose Moniker and couldn’t have been happier with how smoothly everything went, and with our amazing coordinator there Aly, who also helped coordinate Sam and Brandon’s wedding as well. I still need to share some of our wedding photos!
Until then here is a look at Sam and Brandon’s urban love filled wedding.
